INDUSTRY REGISTRATION

I am an up and coming Powerlifting Coach, who has been in the industry for 8+ years. I found Powerlifting in 2013 and have been interested ever since, but only started competing in 2022. Since then I have tried to spread the love of powerlifting to the clients that are interested, and well as helping the ones that arent in their chosen aspects

I commenced working as a personal trainer in November 2017 for Goodlife Health Clubs Holden Hill, SA. Following closure of the Holden Hill club, I transferred to the Payneham club in July 2019 where I have remained since. I am also the former Personal Training Manager of Goodlife Health Clubs Hindmarsh from May 2021 to November 2023 and the current Personal Training Manager of Goodlife Health Clubs Adelaide City from November 2023.

I have had over 16 years experience working with people on an individualised basis, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals, ranging from fatloss to increased athletic performance. My passion for knowledge about health and fitness has led me around the globe to the USA and Europe, allowing me to bring back some of the best training methods to Perth. I have had the good fortune to train with some of the world’s best-known strength and conditioning coaches. My own fitness journey has seen me do a complete turn-around, from starting out running marathons to stepping on stage in a bikini as a figure competitor in IFBB and INBA bodybuilding shows.

I've been in the fitness industry for more than 25 years, beginning in group exercise when the only option was freestyle instructing. After management roles in public, commercial and corporate environments, I decided it was time someone built a better recruitment tool for our industry. Enter, HealthyPeople. More than 10 years later, I'm still passionate about bringing the industry professionals and employers together. FITREC was built in response to the issues we saw facing both employers and professionals. Once again, it was time to step in and build the service that industry people should be getting. The video with TISM in my carousel is one of my more dubious contributions to the industry.

I'm Jason Bencich, director at Benchfit. Personal trainer based out of Goodlife Maroochydore with 6 years experience in the industry. I specialise in weight loss through strength training and a healthy lifestyle.

I was a stay at home mum with two young children. My local gym had a maildrop special on. I ended up joining and after a year thought I would do a course so I could learn more and to use my brain as well. I qualified in 1996 and have been active in the fitness industry ever since.

Certified Zumba instructor, working exclusively (at present) through Goodlife Rockhampton. Outside of Zumba, my primary career is as a registered psychologist, and I am also a freelance drag queen.

Health in all its complexity fascinates me. I love diving into book, asking questions to specialists in different fields to be able to understand the bigger picture. My goal is always to find the root cause of the problem to be able to build strength and balance for a life time. I have a strong background on neurokinetics and anatomy trains.
