I just love working with groups, having FUN, creating connections, and hopefully inspiring participants to achieve their fitness goals. I'm also passionate about working with older adults, keeping them active and engaged in the community.

Izabela Maher
I have been a registered fitness professional since 1999. I continue to expand my knowledge and interests to a wide variety of corners. I have worked on the gym floor, writing fitness programs for members, taught a variety of group fitness classes, undertaken multiple Cycle courses, and Pilates course with The Pilates Company. In 2019 I fulfilled my long dream of undertaking and graduating Yoga Teacher Training in India. Since then I expanded my Yoga skillset to include Yin Yoga & Myofascial Release. In March 2023 I went back to India and underwent an advanced 300 hours yoga teacher training, which deepened my knowledge of the subtle effects of the yogic practice as well as awakened an interest in Ayurveda (life knowledge) and yoga therapy. I September 2024 I underwent Reform Pilates Training and gained my Certification.

Marketa Krueger
Marketa Krueger has been passionate about movement from a very young age. At the age of 10, she was selected to a special school for athletes in the Czech Republic. She was a dancer and developed a love for Aerobic classes. When she moved to Australia in 1996, she continued her interest in aerobic and in 1999 became an Aerobic and Aqua Instructor. In 2001 Marketa completed her first Pilates Mat qualification. In 2003 gained further knowledge in anatomy by completing a Diploma in Sport Massage Therapy and in the same year completed STOTT Pilates L-2. Marketa approaches exercise as a method of healing, developed from her training as a massage therapist and building on the philosophy of the Pilates Method founder Joseph Pilates of using movement for rehabilitation.

Brendon McTainsh
I began my fitness journey back in 1984, joining South Hedland Fitness. Lifting weights. reading magazines, the appetite for health and fitness had begun. In 1988 I enlisted in the Australian Army, Physically demanding role with ruthless military training. During my time in the services I began doing boxing and martial arts, Muay Thai / kickboxing etc In 1992 I left the Australian Regular Army, to spend time with my family. 1993 completed courses through Fitlink and registered with Australian Accreditation Council (later Fitness Australia) People often associate fitness with pain not enjoyable. I believe it’s important to make training fun / stimulating, so my clients incorporate it into their lives. Through personalized training sessions, I deliver programs that are individualized and tailored to the needs of my clients.

Mia Blanford
I have been an instructor and Personal Trainer since 1998 based in both Melbourne and Sydney I used to teach between 25-30 classes per week as a freelance instructor- healthlands, Pumphouse, FTP, Sydney uni, manly leagues, Inshape, norths. It was challenging but totally rewarding and fulfilling. Then I found my home at Fitness First. I started in 2000 and other than a short break where I lived overseas it’s been the main source of employment, joy, laughter and wonderful friendships. Now I teach between 10-15 Group Ex classes a week with a focus on Les Mills training systems: Body Pump, Attack, Combat, Step and Balance. I also held a Personal training franchise at FF Nth Sydney for 8 years where I specialised in women’s fitness, strength and conditioning as well as pre and post natal trading and fitness. Now, other than my classes I conduct studio personal training for Individuals, small and large groups.

Ian Graham
Ian loves to guide people towards a better relationship with their body. His main drive is helping people to do what they love doing and be with the people they love being with. Over the last 15 years he’s developed from personal training to movement coaching which helps people understand what’s limiting them (whether its stiffness, soreness, pain or plateaus); and discover new movement patterns beyond these limitations. He coaches a wide range of individuals; people who want to be able to stay active with their children, elite and amateur athletes striving for their personal best, teenagers who want to grow into good posture and individuals who want to stay independent as they age.

Craig has over 25 years experience in the Health & Fitness industry with roles including Personal Trainer, Health Club Manager, Health and Fitness Managing Director, International Sport Supplement company consultant, Full time Lecturer, Consultant Nutritionist, & a Public Health, Corporate & Motivational speaker, with his greatest love being assisting others to build bodies and lifestyles they are truly proud of and can keep for good. An Anorexia Nervosa/Bulimia Nervosa survivor turned light heavy weight bodybuilder; this man has changed many people’s lives with his unique fat loss & nutrition coaching business & inspiring life story. Craig brings Applied Science & life experience to this entertaining approach to his coaching, mentoring and educating business. The 2011 Queensland Exercise Professional of the Year and Australian Fitness Professional of the Year Finalist this man will inspire you to change your life for the better.

Hannah Altman PhD
have over a decade of experience in the health and fitness industry across sales, management, and practitioner roles. My experience is backed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science and a PhD focused on the business of fitness, alongside a lifetime in high-level sport as a nationally ranked kayaker and international-level powerlifting athlete, coach, and referee. Over the past five years, I have specialised in working with medical professionals and older adults, helping clients reduce pain, improve movement, and build confidence through evidence-based strength training. To make these services more accessible, I developed the Infinite App, delivering structured rehabilitation and strength programs online. In May 2026, I relocated to Sydney to take up a Senior Lectureship in Sport at the Global Institute of Sport while continuing to run Infinite online. I am currently looking for a Sydney gym to call home.
