Jan Nelson
Hi I’m Jan Nelson, owner of Mt Martha Personal Training, and I love living, working and playing on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. There is a lot more involved than lifting weights to keeping healthy and well. I like to empower my clients to improve movement and function, create healthy habits, build confidence and self esteem. We can all feel much better with a good mix of physical activity, healthy diet, sleep, friendship and a healthy dose of fun. My passion is to help people to be in the best shape they can be, making them become the happiest, healthiest, strongest version of themselves.
Cherie O’Brien
I am passionate about bringing health and fitness to women of all ages, shapes and sizes. I found fitness at a mature age. I’m a Mother of 4 children and that coupled with life experience it gives me a relatability that helps me work with women (and men) from all walks of life. I can appreciate all the ups and downs that life throws at us. I’m genuine and empathetic towards people and the paths their lives have taken. I’m invested in the people that I interacts with and in their health and fitness journey. Specialising in work with peri menopausal and menopausal women (a topic I’m very familiar with). I have previously competed in both Bodybuilding and Powerlifting competitions. I’m both flexible and diverse with the group classes and love the connection and understanding you get working with clients doing one-on-one sessions.
